A caught swarm becomes a new colony

Tick “Caught” and name the hive you put the swarm into — the app creates a new colony in it and links it to the mother colony. In the pedigree this shows as “Swarm from:”. You can record a catch after the fact.

From then on the caught swarm behaves like any other colony. Its origin will be “Own swarm” or “Foreign swarm”.
