How to move a component between hives and storage

Open the components screen for the apiary or for storage — tap on the relevant card and choose “Components” — then pick the component and tap “Move”. Name another hive, or choose “To warehouse”, and the app confirms with “Component moved”.

The reverse lives on the component’s own card: “Detach from hive”. The component stays in the app but no longer counts as part of the hive.

When you delete one, the app warns you that the component will be removed and that if it is currently in a hive, the hive will lose it.
