How to make a split

On the colony card, under “Available actions”, tap “Split”. Choose the hive the split is going into and set the “Split date”.

On the next step the app shows you the mother colony’s queen and asks where she is staying. If your choice would leave one side without a queen, a warning appears along the lines of “Hive 4 will have no queen”. Tap “Confirm” and the app creates the new colony, puts it in the hive you chose and links it to the mother colony.
