How to create an apiary

Open “Apiaries” and tap the add button in the bottom right corner. A menu opens — choose “New apiary”.

The card is made up of sections:

• “Main info” — “Apiary name”, “Code (e.g., A1)”, “Official registration number”, “Declared number of hives” and the “Organic beekeeping” switch. If you fill the apiary code in, the app will show that instead of the apiary name from then on — which lets you fit more hives on one screen wherever hive numbers are shown together with the apiary.
• “Location” — “Location description” and a map. Tap the map to drop a pin; “Clear” removes it. The “Apply coordinates to all hives” switch gives every hive in the apiary the same location — handy when you want to set coordinates for all of them at once.
• “Photos” and “Notes”.

Tap “Create”. Photos only become available once the apiary has been saved.
