How to add a hive

Open “Apiaries” and tap the add button in the bottom right corner. A menu opens — choose “New hive”.

The only field you must fill in is “Hive number (e.g., 17)”. Set the hive’s location if you want to. You can install a colony in the hive right away, and you can also put together the physical make-up of the hive — boxes, roof, queen excluders, floor, feeder and so on — under “Components”.

Note that generating a QR code and assigning an RFID tag only become possible once the hive has been saved. Photos you can attach straight away.

Tap “Create”. The hive is created.
