Apian HelpProcessing modes: audio, text, full parsing
At the top of the recording screen there is a “Processing” chip. Tap it and “Processing mode” opens, subtitled with what the phone does with a recording right after the inspection. Three options:

| “Audio only” | The phone only records your voice. You run transcription and parsing by hand whenever it suits | no drain |
| “Audio + text” | Transcribes straight away — the text is to hand right there at the hives. Parsing into fields is manual | moderate drain |
| “Smart processing” | Full parsing immediately | over a run of recordings it can eat the battery quickly |
I would use “Audio + text” as your default.
