Weight monitoring and the scale hive

1. On the home screen, find the “Weight monitoring” widget.
2. Tap it, or open the three dots menu → “Add control hive”.
3. Choose a hive from the current apiary. The widget won’t take a hive from another apiary — it tells you which apiary the hive belongs to and asks you to switch to it.
4. Add weight records with the “Add weight record” button on the hive card, under “Weight monitoring”, or let a sensor supply them.

The widget has two views — “Show weight chart” and “Show daily gain chart” — and the period can be a day, a week, a month or three months. You can have more than one scale hive.

To take a hive off the list, use “Remove control hive” in the same menu.

Weight records appear on the hive card under “Honey harvest”.
