How to introduce a queen to a colony and how to remove her

Introducing her. On the hive card, under “Queen”, tap “Attach queen” and either pick an existing queen or create a new one. If the hive has no colony in it yet, the app tells you to create a colony first. For running two queens there is “Attach another queen”.

From the colony card. Under “Queen”, tap “Attach queen”, find the queen with the search box and set the “Queen introduction date”. Tap “Attach queen”.

From the queen’s own record. Under “Colony”, tap “Add”, use the search box to find the colony you are introducing her to, set the date and tap “Add”.

Removing her. Tap “Detach” under “Colony” on the queen’s record, set the date she was removed from the colony and tick “I confirm”. Her period in that colony closes and the history stays.

Put in the date she actually went in or came out, not today’s date — the colony’s history is built from those dates.
