How to start a new rearing run

Go to “Queen rearing” — the leftmost icon in the bottom bar — and tap the add button .

Fill in:

• the hive the queens are being raised in;
• which date to count from — the day the egg was laid or the day-old larva was grafted. The whole spread of milestone dates depends on this;
• if you want reminders, the time of day the app should send them;
• the parent colony and queen — the ones you grafted from;
• the breed and line;
• the mother queen’s traits: gentleness, productivity, disease resistance, winter hardiness, egg laying, swarming tendency;
• a note, if you need one.
